If you don't know what that means, ask ;-)

About YOSEMITE CHAPTER ICC
|
The Yosemite Chapter ICC was founded in the 1950's to
promote uniformity in the enforcement of building codes
within our region, provide educational opportunities for
Building Department personnel, Architects, Engineers,
Contractors and other interested parties.
Yosemite Chapter ICC membership currently represents
seven Counties (Calaveras, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, San
Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tuolumne) and many of the Cities
within the Counties listed (Angels Camp, Atwater, Coalinga,
Dos Palos, Emeryville, Escalon, Gustine, Hughson, Lathrop,
Los Banos, Manteca, Merced, Modesto, Newman, Oakdale,
Ripon, Patterson, Riverbank, Sonora, Stockton, Tracy, and
Turlock). Included in our membership are State of
California representatives from the Contractors' State
License Board, the Energy Commission and Housing and
Community Development as well as local Architects,
Contractors, and Engineers. It is this diversity in
membership that helps us to resolve code compliance issues
through cooperation, with knowledge, logic and practical
experience.
Our meetings provide an opportunity for Industry Members
to present new products that may provide solutions to unique
problems we encounter in the field. Through productive
discussions and sharing of information between our members,
we learn valuable lessons in code interpretations that result
in reasonable solutions for everyone and achieve the safety
intended by the codes we are charged with enforcing.
Meetings are open to the public and are usually held on the
third Thursday of every month at 11:00 a.m., with a few
exceptions, so please click on the Meeting Schedule button to
the left for further information. All meetings include lunch
and the cost is currently $20.00 for non-members &
$15.00 for members, but subject to change without notice.
